Most fire departments are changing their truck colors to yellow because it is the first color your eye recognizes. No military in the universe would ever deploy a ground troop in yellow. My Caldari C/1 Logi suit cost me around 2M SP's to spec into. I was trying to get the highest suit possible with still ability to spec equipment. I had not idea I would be in brightest yellow you ever saw. Now when we push across a road, all guns are on me, everybody else blends, but I'm the one they all see.
CCP, please God, please, give us another Respec opportunity. It would be fair because the complexity of the skill system.
Every player should get a 30 day window to spec and see what works for them and then unspec and respec if they need to.
You could make them start with the original points so that anything they gained in the 30 day window doesn't apply. It just a chance to fix errors due to misunderstanding the new skill tree.
Please, please. Begging, ...... "I don't want to die Mr. Custer" |

on the one hand i think developing a consistent color scheme for class/roles would help with Team/Squad deployment.
on the other, making me the Bright Bumble Bee of death, does not seem a tactically wise decision.
Yeah, I like the idea of color coding, but how about dark green, dark purple, dark grey etc. We could color code without Yellow, Red, Orange as the main color. |

Yes, people in my squad yesterday were having me go in a dark corner of the lobby to see if it got any less bright. Then they all started laughing. I had only 5M SPs to start and I put about 2.5M into spec'ing the suit before even looking at weapons and stuff. If I would have known it was bright yellow, and that I was going to be laughed at, I would have went Assault or something.
I think squad mates don't want me around because I draw attention. Therefore, it's a deterrent to playing in a squad.
Ugh! 2.5M to be the butt of jokes. |
